KSECA Employment Requests for Proposal (RFP)
Park Maintenance
- Lawn Maintenance of All (3) Seaview Parks
- Mow all (3) parks every two weeks
- Weed whack all (3) parks twice a month (including edging around structures and under trees)
- Clear grass clippings from the mail center and hele-pad areas
- Clear and dispose of any garbage and debris found around the parks
- Collect fallen palm fronds/green waste for easy disposal
We are looking for individuals who will take ownership of the position and take pride in keeping the parks beautiful and in good condition for the resident owners.
- Coconut Tree Maintenance of All (3) Seaview Parks (Climbing)
- Clean-cut all mature tall coconut trees twice a year
- Haul all cocos, fronds, and tree waste to Pahoa transfer station
Applicants must have experience, required insurance coverage, and references.
- Tree Maintenance of All (3) Parks
- Trim and care for the fruit trees near the pavilion and all other (non-coconut) park trees
- Prune branches, thin, and clear plants that may be impeding growth
- Assist KSECA residents in nurturing the fruit-bearing trees (fertilizing, etc.)
- Haul all green waste to Pahoa Transfer Station
We are looking for individuals who will take ownership of the position and really care for the trees. Arborists and those with knowledge in tropical and food-bearing trees are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Clean Up and Removal of Green Waste in Parks
- Collect any garbage, debris, or fallen fronds
- Pavilion Steward
- Sweep or blow the Pavilion clean each week
- Remove trash from Pavilion area
- Lock and unlock the Pavilion gate and facilities as needed
- Treat All Parks for Little Fire Ants
- Spray all 3 parks for Little Fire Ants
- Conduct monthly testing for treatment effectiveness
Administration Positions
- Bookkeeper
- Accurately maintain the association’s financial ledgers, post receipts
- Mail annual dues notices to owners and 1099’s to contractors
- Reconcile bank statements and create monthly reports for each Board meeting
This individual should be organized, experienced, possess strong computer skills, and be mistake-free.
- Website
- Post monthly Board Reports, jobs, agendas, and minutes
- Run updates and maintain the website to ensure efficiency and accuracy
- Keep updated with current community events and other helpful information on the website
Special Projects
- Pavilion Park Septic
- Removal of the existing cesspool
- Install new septic system for pavilion bathroom (Meeting the requirements of the EPA, State, and County)
- Seaview Community Sign (At the Lawn)
- Design and fabricate a new sign for the Entrance to Seaview
- Handyman for Seaview Community Parks (As Needed)
- Handle any miscellaneous park repairs as needed throughout the year
